I have always been very particular about jewelry. I notice the proportions, how a stone sits, how refined the setting is, and all the little details that can make two seemingly similar pieces feel completely different.
That same attention is at the heart of Stellar Gems.
I personally select the diamonds I offer, looking beyond what is written on a certificate to how each stone actually performs. I am equally particular about the setting, the gold and the finish. What you create around a stone matters just as much.
Stellar Gems was born from evolution. After years in fine jewelry with The Twist, I saw where the industry was heading and chose to lead rather than follow. When lab-grown diamonds were still questioned in the GCC, I leaned into education, transparency and design precision. I didn't choose lab-grown because it was cheaper. I chose it because it was smarter.
Every piece, whether from the collection or created especially for a client, is designed for the woman who will wear it.

From Graphic Design to Gemology: How Stellar Gems Began
I studied graphic design and art history in Lebanon before moving to Dubai. The design training stayed with me. Proportion, negative space, the weight of a line.
My first decade in jewelry was spent learning the industry from the inside. Working with stones every day, understanding how gold behaves at different karats, watching how clients respond when a piece fits versus when it almost fits. I earned my HRD diamond grading certification in 2018 because I wanted to grade my own stones with full confidence.

Before founding Stellar Gems, Danya founded The Twist, a jewelry brand that gained international recognition and was featured in Vogue Italia. Her collections were presented through trade shows and fashion events in Paris, London and New York, including New York Fashion Week.
Stellar Gems has exhibited at Al Thuraya and Mirbad in Abu Dhabi, and at Its Title, Behind the Green Door and Empower Her in Dubai.
